Hi! My name is Lesley Lopez and I’m eighteen years old. A little bit about myself is that I love to laugh, and I love to go out with my friends either to eat or to the movies. I’m a freshman at UTA and plan on majoring in Interior Design. My plan is to get an internship with a company that focuses in interior design either in my third or fourth year just to get some experience and to learn more about what it is to be an interior designer and what goes into doing the job, hopefully with those opportunities I can become a noticeable candidate for companies and find a job I can go straight into after graduation.

My current relationship with reading is that I love to read, the only problem is that lately I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time for reading. I love to read romance books, books based on true stories, action and even some horror books occasionally. I think it was when I was in either seventh or eighth grade when I discovered that reading could be entertaining, specially when I got to choose the book that looked more appealing to me. I was introduced to the book called A Child Called “It” by David Pelzer and I got so into the book, how interesting and sad it was, how it made me feel so many emotions. I truly loved the book that I decided to do my research on it and found out David had written more books continuing his story, which I’ve read. My relationship with writing is that the topic must be good, for me to have some thoughts about it, it just makes the writing part easier, if I have some ideas on the topic and know what to talk about.
